Trailers of the Week: Saltburn, Leave the World Behind, More
Check out my last trailers of the week to read a little bit about why I like to pull my favorite trailers together. In short, sometimes, I find myself equally enthralled by the trailers as I am by the actual show or movie they tease.
Here is this week’s roundup, enjoy!
True Detective: Night Country (S4)
Yes, only season one has been worth anyone’s time, but this 4th installment could be decent. The casting looks strong. And now Barry Jenkins is involved. I think True D could be having a comeback.
Leave the World Behind
Sam Esmail is not perfect, but I find all of his work very interesting. He deals with big concepts like Mr. Robot. Plus, the cast is filled with reliables - Julia Roberts, Ethan Hawke, Kevin Bacon, and MAHERSHALA.
Saltburn
Weird looking. Artsy looking. But anything with Barry Keoghan is worth a watch.
Fingernails
The concept is cool. The actors are awesome. Two of my favorites: Riz Ahmed and Jessie Buckley. Also the dude from the Bear, Jeremy Allen White. Looks cool.

“Were they born? Or were they made?”
Looks like an uncomfortable watch. I like movies that push the edge. In the hands of these actors it seems riveting.
